A humidity dome maintains elevated humidity around transplanted tissue culture plantlets during ex vitro acclimatization, preventing desiccation stress as plants transition from the high-humidity in-vitro environment. Gradually vent the dome over 1–2 weeks by opening vents progressively, allowing plantlets to adapt to ambient greenhouse humidity. Essential for reducing transplant shock and improving acclimatization survival rates.
