Labs are already reading the page your product belongs on

The xPlant Pro catalog is where a tissue culture lab checks what a medium is, what a PGR does, and what to reorder. Apply to be the place they buy it from.

Applications are read by a person, not a form filter.

What we will tell you before you apply

Four things about how a listing works. They are how the software already behaves, not promises about how we intend to behave.

Every purchase link is tagged sponsored

Outbound links in the catalog carry rel="noopener noreferrer sponsored" in the page markup, whether or not money changes hands on them. It is applied by the component that draws the panel, so it is on for everybody at once and cannot be switched off for one supplier. Amazon links are labelled as affiliate links on the page as well.

A referral code is optional

A listing can be a plain link to your product page with no code and no commission. That is a supported arrangement the system has a name for, not a favour — so if you would rather not have a commercial relationship with us, you can still be listed.

Listings are not exclusive

We may list suppliers who compete with you, including on the same product page. You are free to sell anywhere else and to run your own referral arrangements. Nobody gets a territory or a category.

You can have a listing switched off

Ask us and we will turn it off, normally the same working day. It is a setting on the listing rather than a code change, so it does not wait for a release.

Three ways to work with us

Which one applies to you is recorded on your listing. You tell us which you are interested in when you apply, and we agree it with you before anything goes live.

How applying works

1. You apply

The form at the bottom of this page. It asks who you are, what you sell, and which arrangement you are interested in. It takes a couple of minutes.

2. We read it

A person looks at whether the products fit the catalog, whether the information is specific enough to be useful to a lab, and whether we can link to a page where the product can be bought. We reply either way.

3. Your listing goes live

Once the application is approved and the arrangement is confirmed, your products appear on the catalog pages they belong on. Nothing is published before that.

If you have more than a handful of products

Under a dozen products and we will usually enter them by hand. Above that, a feed is less work for both of us and keeps the catalog accurate without anybody remembering to update it.

We will agree the format, how often we read it, and who to contact when it breaks. If you already publish a product feed for somewhere else, send us that — we would rather read a format you already maintain than ask you to build a new one. Write to team@xplantpro.com to set one up.

You do not need a feed to apply. Say so on the form and we will work out which way round makes sense.

Questions suppliers ask

Does paying a commission get me a better position?

No. We decide which products appear on which pages and in what order, and a commission does not change that. A listing is also not an endorsement — we do not test what you sell and we do not tell a lab what to buy.

Can I list without any commercial arrangement?

Yes. Choose Direct on the form. Your listing is a plain link to your product page, no code, nothing payable to us. It is the same listing everyone else gets.

Who writes the product descriptions?

You send us the product information and you are responsible for it being accurate. We may edit for length, house style and consistency with the rest of the catalog, but we will not change the substance of a claim. If we think a claim cannot be supported we will leave it out and tell you why rather than reword it.

What happens if a price changes?

A price we show may have been recorded when we last checked, and the page we link to is the authority. Tell us when something material changes — a discontinued product, a reformulation, a broken link, or a price that has moved far enough that our figure misleads.

How do I stop being listed?

Write to us and we will switch it off, normally the same working day. Either side can end the arrangement at any time, with no notice period and no fee.

Do you sell my contact details?

No. What you send on the form is stored so we can review the application and reply to it, and emailed to our own team so a person sees it. It goes nowhere else, and applying does not subscribe you to anything.

Apply to list your products

A person reads every application and replies either way. If you would rather start with a conversation, write to team@xplantpro.com — that is also the address for setting up a product feed.

A full address, starting https://. It is where a listing would link to.

Where we reply. Nothing else is sent to it.

Countries or regions. Labs care about this more than anything else on the page.

An estimate is fine. It tells us whether to enter them by hand or set up a feed.

What you sell

Tick everything that applies. If none of them fit, say so in the message.

Do you make these products, or sell them?
Which arrangement are you interested in?

Nothing here is binding. We agree the arrangement with you in writing before a listing goes live.

CSV, XML, JSON, a Shopify or Google Merchant feed — anything you already maintain for somewhere else.

Sending this is an application, not an agreement. We read it, reply either way, and nothing is listed until the application is approved and the arrangement is confirmed with you. The terms a listing runs on are the Supplier Listing Terms.
