One lab, on every screen
The app signs in to the xPlant Pro account you use on the web and works in the same lab, so a transfer logged at the flow hood is there on the iPad at your desk.
The xPlant Pro app
Scan a jar's label at the flow hood and log the transfer while it is in your hands. Plan the week on iPad at your desk. One account and one lab, the same as xPlant Pro on the web.
Coming to the App Store. Start on the web today: the app signs in to the same account.
iPhone
Gloves on and a jar in your hand: the iPhone app keeps to what you do at the bench. Real screens from a demo lab.
Scan
Point the camera at a jar's label. The app reads QR codes, Data Matrix and Code 128 barcodes, and opens that culture's record. No label to hand? Type the code instead.
Log
Record a transfer, a stage change or contamination at the bench, while the jar is in front of you rather than from memory at the end of the day. It joins the culture's history in the lab your team works in on the web.
Today
Today lists the transfers due now and the ones that are overdue, each with how many days overdue it is, so you can start with the oldest.
iPad
Planning happens away from the bench, and on iPad it has the room it needs.
The workspace
On iPad the app opens to the full workspace: cultures by line and medium, media recipes, SOPs, tasks and the schedule, in the same sidebar as the web app.
Media recipes
Read a medium's components and amounts before the next pour, and see how many plants each recipe is used for.
Tasks and the schedule
See what is overdue, due today and due this week as a list, a board or a calendar, and give each task to the person who will be at the bench.

A Home Screen and Lock Screen widget shows the transfers due today and overdue, and how many days overdue the oldest one is. Tap it to open Today.
Print jar labels to an AirPrint printer, sized to the label stock you have loaded.
In development: a glance at the transfers due, and a complication for your watch face.
Hear about a transfer coming due or overdue, contamination flagged in your lab, and a task assigned to you. By default the lock screen never names a plant, a cultivar or a person; a setting turns the details on.
Use Siri and Shortcuts, or press and hold the app icon for Scan a label, Open bench and Tasks.

No tracking across apps, and no data sold.
It is being prepared for the App Store now and is not available to download yet. Until it is, your lab's records are in xPlant Pro on the web, and the app will open the same account and the same lab.
