ABA (Abscisic Acid) — 100 mg

A plant stress hormone that promotes dormancy, inhibits germination, and regulates stomatal closure. In tissue culture, ABA at 0.1–10 mg/L promotes somatic embryo maturation and storage reserve accumulation, stimulates secondary metabolite production, and improves desiccation tolerance before ex vitro transfer. Particularly important in conifer embryo maturation protocols. Heat-labile — filter-sterilize and add to cooled medium.
