Zeatin — 100 mg

A naturally occurring cytokinin found in maize kernels and many plant tissues. Zeatin is the most active natural cytokinin for promoting cell division and is used at low concentrations (0.01–1.0 mg/L) for meristematic cultures, embryo rescue, and systems where synthetic cytokinins cause vitrification. More expensive than BAP or kinetin, but produces physiologically normal shoot responses. Dissolve in dilute HCl or NaOH.
